• These CD's will function properly on Windows 98 or better, Mac OS9.2 or better. On Mac OS9.2 the CD files will have a lock symbol and a message asking if you want to open the file. Clicking OK will open the file.

• The CD's contain patterns only and do not include software for re-sizing or image editing tasks.

Q:  I would prefer to see all the patterns in a book before buying it.

A:  Yes, and I feel the same way about products. This site provides a representative selection of patterns from each CD, which hopefully is enough to show that this is an extraordinary collection of abstract designs. You can be confident that every design on these CD's has artistic merit, with beautiful color selections, excellent image quality, and better printing quality than many standard design books. If you do not think this is great product just return it within 30 days for a full refund.

Q:  I am not sure if my computer can view the files on the CD.

A:  99% of computers will be able to view all of the files, but if you do not have Adobe Acrobat you cannot view the PDF images. You can download Acrobat Reader for free at adobe.com. JPEG files will open in various programs depending on your default image viewing software, typically the same program you view photos in. The thumbnail image browser will open in your web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape...)and function like a web page. You can also e-mail me from this web site with any questions and I will try to assist you by e-mail or phone.

Q:  How much ink am I going to use to print the patterns?

A:  Much less than you think. You do not have to print every pattern, and if you do most of the colors have a percentage of black in them which reduces the color ink use. It is not necessary to pay exorbitant prices for name brand ink. Buy compatible ink cartridges on line for a fraction of the price.

Q:  How can I enlarge the patterns?

A:  In many software programs you can enlarge the image and print it on tiled pages (numerous single pages that you tape together). Import the JPEG files into Rapid Resizer, Paint Shop Pro, Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. You can also take a single printed page to a full service copy shop and enlarge it in the blueprint printer onto one large sheet of paper.

Q:  What if I do not want to use a credit card to purchase the CD's.

A:  The credit card transaction is handled securely by PayPal. You will have to spend a few minutes opening an account with them before completing a purchase. You can also pay from a checking account through PayPal. E-mail to get mailing instructions for payment by money order.

Q:  What about the copyright?

A:  As the original purchaser you are welcome to use the patterns to make windows or other artwork for your personal use or as gifts. Prohibited uses include selling any product based on the patterns, or selling or distributing copies of the patterns (in any format) to clients, students, or any other person or organization.
